Loaded with the historical mission of localizing large-scale Wind Turbine Generating System, Taili Wind Power strives to install the 1MW and 1.5MW wind turbine generator systems, which are applied to both onshore and offshore wind sites.  Pakistan is an energy deficient country. Thus the need to develop alternate energy resources is inevitable. In the recent past, wind energy has emerged as clean, abundant, affordable, inexhaustible and environmentally benign source of energy. The detailed wind feasibility for the last 3 years has been prepared by the Government of Pakistan in collaboration with foreign consultants. The average wind speed in the coastal areas of Pakistan is 7.30 meters per second.

Pakistan Meteorological Department has conducted a detailed Wind Power Potential Survey of Coastal Areas of Pakistan. This study has enabled to identify the potential areas where economically feasible wind farms can be established. Potential areas cover in Sindh is 9700 sq. km with suitable average annual wind speed of 7.30 m/s at 80 meters height. The gross wind power potential of this area is 43000 MW and keeping in view the area utilization constrains etc. the exploitable electric power generation potential of this area is Taili Wind Power has helped in the research and development of wind turbines of 50 MW (1.5 MW – 33 sets) which especially suits the wind conditions of the coastal areas of Pakistan.
